Rite Aid will be searching for another CEO as Heyward Donigan departs, forcing the brand to seek out it’s second CEO in a four year period and the appointment of Board members Elizabeth ‘Busy’ Burr to interim CEO.
Donigan accepted the position of CEO in August 2019 after nearly five years as president and CEO of Sapphire Digital, succeeding John Standley who served as the company’s CEO since June of 2010.
Rite Aid officially affirmed its 2023 fiscal-year guidance for total revenues between $23.7 billion and $24 billion and net loss between $584 million and $551 million.
